This chromatic tuner is specifically designed for the Oud, offering two modes of operation: manual and automatic.

In manual mode, it functions as a versatile, general-purpose tuner suitable for various stringed instruments. In automatic mode, the device systematically cycles through all the Oud strings, guiding the user to tighten or loosen each string to achieve optimal tuning. It provides the option to select from ten common preset tunings or to create and save custom settings.

The automatic mode serves as an efficient method to quickly verify and maintain the instrument’s tuning integrity. Additionally, the tuner supports both Solfege and letter note displays, enhancing musical literacy and flexibility. It also includes a feature to play reference tones, facilitating tuning by ear with greater precision.
